big boy undies

Behold, a true man. Pollard Henig is now sporting big boy undies and guess who is proud with a capital P....HE IS! And so is his Mama. What you see here is buzz light year however the themes of the undies range from woody and buzz, to Nemo, to robots and trucks. You get the drift. A few
pee clean ups here and there but otherwise I'm so proud of the big brother.

In other news I come to you this evening from my handy dandy iPad. BPH, senior purchased me this bad boy for Christmas. Can you say love affair...
More to come as I figure out what in the world i'm doing with this thing. Meanwhile i will be propped up here in bed on my heating pad like the 80 year old that I am.

3 Year old Pollard!!!

Pollard Henig turned 3 years old on January 3rd....I still can't believe it!
We celebrated at Dede and Big John's house and then with a backyard Outer Space/Rocketship throwdown.

And here you have his 2 most favorite gifts EVER.  A talking storm trooper helmet from Mommy and Daddy and a "real" shotgun from Barnes and Emmie.  Anything can really be a helmet to Pollard (a box, a name it. The obsession grows more and more every day), so this talking helmet was a massive hit.

We blasted off in our backyard with a little par-tay including Pollard's new astronaut inflatable bounce-house.  Here are a few of my fave pics from that sunny afternoon.

Pollard's 2 best friends, Chappell and Barnes playing in the playhouse :)
The birthday boy in his space outfit (thanks Sissy!) on the swings.

Blowing out the candles on his cupcake cake!

All of P's buds chowing down on cupcakes and popcorn in the backyard...SO MUCH FUN!

Me and Peanut Butter hanging out in the sunshine. This baby is just an absolute DREAM of a child.

Our attempt at a picture of the brothers in their matching outfits. As a mother you dream of dressing your kids alike and sitting them on a green grassy patch while they for the camera  hugging each other.  The truth of it is, you're lucky if they'll sit on a tacky Auburn blanket eating 2 suckers at once and looking at you like you have 2 heads.

And here is P serving popcorn from the popcorn  machine.  I had so much fun with that thing, and since popcorn is his favorite food, it was a shoe-in!

The party was a hit, and i'll leave you with my 2 favorite pictures from our week long celebration...

Happy Birthday to the best little boy I could ever ask for! You are sweet, funny, caring, sensitive, hilarious, extremely smart, spunky and LOADS of fun to be around. I can't imagine a better YOU! WE LOVE YOU, BUD!!!
